Ingredients:
  • a day old French white bread loaf (sliced)
  • 2 tsp fresh thyme (coarsely chopped)
  • 1 tsp dried red chili strands
  • 1/3 cup Parmesan cheese (grated)
  • 5 to 6 garlic cloves (finely minced)
  • sea salt to taste
  • 1 tsp olive oil

Instructions:

  1. You can use baguette or sourdough bread too for your croutons.
  2. Similarly, instead of chili strands, regular chili flakes can also be used.
  3. Preheat oven to 150 °C.
  4. Grease a baking tray with olive oil and keep aside
  5. Lightly rub minced garlic on each crouton and season with sea salt.
  6. Add half a teaspoon of grated Parmesan on each crouton.
  7. Sprinkle thyme and chili strands on top of it.
  8. Transfer all the croutons to the tray.
  9. Bake for about 15 minutes.
  10. Use as per your requirements.
