  • 450 gm tagliatelle
  • 750 gm cherry tomatoes (cut in halves)
  • 3 large garlic cloves (slightly crushed)
  • pinch of oregano
  • 1/3 cup olive oil
  • freshly ground black pepper to taste
  • salt to taste


  1. Cook pasta according to the instructions on the packet.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet on a low flame.
  3. Add crushed garlic cloves with a pinch of oregano to the pan.
  4. Sauté until the cloves start to change the color.
  5. Remove the cloves from the skillet and switch the flame to medium.
  6. Add halved cherry tomatoes and toss for just half a minute.
  7. Add cooked pasta to the skillet and season with ground black pepper and salt.
  8. Toss and cook for about for about 1 or 2 minutes.
  9. Optionally, you can also add few red chili flakes to the preparation.
  10. If it's a bit dry, drizzle ample amount of extra virgin olive oil on top.
  11. Serve hot.
