Savor these spicy, tangy and lip smacking chicken meatballs which are flavored with select spices and are deep-fried to perfection to liven up your taste buds.

  • 850 gm chicken mince (coarsely ground)
  • 1 tsp dried pomegranate seeds (coarsely ground)
  • 1/2 tsp hot paprika
  • 1/4 tsp ground black pepper
  • 1/2 cup onion paste
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 6 green chilies (finely chopped)
  • pinch of cinnamon powder
  • few coriander or basil sprigs (for garnish)
  • vegetable oil for deep frying
  • salt to taste


  1. Except vegetable oil and garnishing sprigs, mix everything else in a large bowl.
  2. Make even-sized meatballs with your hands and keep aside for about 5 to 10 minutes.
  3. Heat vegetable oil in a deep frying pan and keep the flame medium-high.
  4. Fry all the meatballs in batches till they turn light golden brown from all the sides.
  5. Place the meatballs on a paper towel to remove excess oil.
  6. Garnish with coriander or basil sprigs and serve hot with a bowl of your favorite sauce.
