Make sure you make some extra cookies because Nutella hidden in any form is equally tempting. Right before serving, you can top these delicious cookies with your favorite flavored cream frosting. Nutella filled butter cookies

Try these Nutella-filled delicious and crunchy butter cookies which are baked to perfection and are your best companion when served with tea and coffee.

Preparation Time: 25 minutes
Cooking time: 10 minutes
Servings: 6

  • 3-1/2 cups all-purpose wheat flour
  • 1/4 cup refined flour
  • 10 gm baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 cup castor sugar
  • 3/4 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1-1/2 cup Nutella
  • 2 tsp milk


  1. Refrigerate Nutella for at least an hour before using it for the filling.
  2. Beat butter and sugar in a food processor till it's fluffy.
  3. Add vanilla extract followed by both eggs.
  4. Beat again till everything is mixed well giving you a fluffy base.
  5. Bring down the processor's speed to the lowest and add baking powder, refined flour, salt, milk and wheat flour.
  6. Continue beating till everything is mixed well giving you a nice cookie dough base.
  7. Make equal sized dough balls.
  8. Flatten them between your palms and place enough Nutella in the center.
  9. Fold the edges and seal the cookie.
  10. Repeat this process for all the cookie balls and place in a greased baking tray.
  11. Bake in preheated oven at 180° C for about 10 to 12 minutes.
  12. Serve with tea of coffee.
