Vegan pizza with mushroomsThis is yet another pizza recipe with loads of veggies and cheese. If you've perfected the art of creating amazing pizza base, you can create almost infinite types of different pizza preparations. I've added an extra quantity of mushrooms in the topping which I'll definitely not recommend if you're going to make this pizza. The more mushrooms you add, the heavier and mushier is the topping. So, do moderate the number of mushrooms using your cooking wisdom. Instead of using pickled olives, one can also use fresh picks. This time I've used regular oven though nothing can beat the aroma and taste of wood fire baked pizza. Let's make this delicious and easy-to-make fulfilling pizza recipe.

Delicious vegan pizza

Do make this scrumptious pizza recipe which includes a generous amount of cheese with a topping of fresh mushrooms, tomatoes and flavorful pickled olives.

Preparation Time: 1 hour 25 minutes
Cooking time: 6 minutes
Servings: 8

  • 3 cups all purpose wheat flour
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 3 tsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp dried yeast
  • 250 gm regular processed cheese (grated)
  • 3/4th cup button mushrooms (sliced)
  • 250 gm tomatoes (chopped)
  • 150 gm pickled black olives
  • pinch of paprika
  • pinch of garlic powder
  • pinch of salt


  1. Add 1/4 tsp salt in wheat flour and sift for half a minute.
  2. Mix both sugar and dried yeast in about 4 tsp of water.
  3. Add in flour with 3 tsp of extra virgin olive oil.
  4. Once again mix all the ingredients well in the flour sifting it for about half a minute with your hands.
  5. Slowly add water and knead the flour base into nice and spongy pizza dough.
  6. Cover with a food grade plastic sheet and keep aside in a warm and damp corner for an hour.
  7. After an hour, roll the dough into a nice and big 12" to 14" pizza base.
  8. Make a layer of grated cheese on the base.
  9. Top it with a layer of sliced mushrooms followed by chopped tomatoes and pickled olives.
  10. Sprinkle paprika, garlic powder and a pinch of salt on top.
  11. Bake in preheated oven at 300 degrees for about 6 to 8 minutes
  12. Serve hot with your favorite beverage.
