Sesame Coated Egg Cookie Balls

Puffy and delicious egg cookie balls coated with white sesame seeds to make your hot cup of coffee or tea better.

Preparation Time: 25 minutes
Cooking time: 15 minutes
Servings: 25

  • 3 cups all purpose wheat flour
  • 6 egg yolks (whipped)
  • 50 gm unsalted butter (melted)
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • pinch of cinnamon powder
  • 1/4 tsp green cardamom powder
  • 2 tsp white sesame seeds
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • salt to taste


  1. Mix all the ingredients in wheat flour except sesame seeds.
  2. Sift the flour for 2 to 3 minutes.
  3. Slowly add water and knead the cookie flour into soft dough.
  4. Cover with muslin cloth and keep aside for 15 minutes.
  5. Spread sesame seeds in a flat plate.
  6. Make small cookie balls from the dough and roll them in sesame seeds.
  7. Grease a baking tray with unsalted butter and carefully arrange all the sesame coated cookies in it.
  8. Bake in preheated oven at 250 degrees for about 15 minutes.
  9. You can also add some chopped dry fruits in these cookies.
  10. Store in an air tight container and serve with tea or coffee.
