Red pepper and lamb sausage pizza

Enjoy this delicious and fulfilling pizza consisting a topping of roasted red peppers combined with cheese and spicy lamb sausages in generous quantity.

  • 2 cups all purpose wheat flour
  • 2 tsp dry yeast
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 2 tsp olive oil
  • 2 lamb sausages (sliced)
  • 2 red bell peppers (cut in strips)
  • 2 to 3 fresh hot red chilies (finely minced)
  • 5 garlic cloves paste
  • 100 gm feta cheese cubes
  • 1 cup of mozzarella cheese (grated)
  • few basil leaves
  • salt to taste


  1. Add yeast and sugar in lukewarm water and whisk for about 3 minutes.
  2. Add olive oil and salt in wheat flour and sift for a minute.
  3. Add lukewarm water in the dough and knead into soft and elastic pizza dough. Keep aside for about 15 minutes.
  4. Add 1/2 tsp oil in a nonstick pan and lightly roast all the bell pepper strips for about a minute.
  5. Grease the pizza baking tray and roll the dough into a nice and smooth pizza base.
  6. Arrange it carefully on the tray.
  7. Add finely minced red chilies and garlic paste in mozzarella cheese and mix well.
  8. Make a layer of seasoned mozzarella cheese on the dough base.
  9. Arrange sausage slices above with bell pepper strips and feta cheese cubes.
  10. Finally top it with basil leaves.
  11. Bake in a preheated oven for about 12 minutes at 180 degrees.
  12. Cut in your desired shape and serve hot.
