Creamy and spicy grilled squid

Savor these delicately grilled squid slices which are seasoned with pepper and creamy coconut milk base which gives it a nice texture and an amazing flavor.

Preparation Time: 30 minutes
Cooking time: 15 minutes
Servings: 5

  • 2 pounds squid (sliced)
  • 1 cup fresh condensed coconut cream
  • 1/4 tsp ground pepper
  • 2 tsp light soy sauce
  • pinch of paprika
  • 1 tsp powdered sugar
  • 1/5 tsp white pepper powder
  • 1 tsp fresh cream
  • 1 tsp egg white (whipped)
  • 4 to 5 tsp extra virgin olive oil
  • salt to taste


  1. Take a bowl and add ground pepper, light soy sauce, paprika, olive oil and salt in it.
  2. Whip and mix all the ingredients.
  3. Pour the marinade on squid slices and apply it well.
  4. Heat a nonstick frying pan on a low flame and pour coconut cream in it.
  5. Slowly stir for about 2 minutes.
  6. Add powdered sugar, white pepper powder, fresh cream, egg white and a pinch of salt in it.
  7. Slowly stir and cook on a low flame for about 6 to 8 minutes.
  8. Switch off the flame and let it cool down.
  9. Heat a charcoal grill and grill all the squid slices on it.
  10. Do not grill them for a long time as they cook quite fast.
  11. Take a serving plate and place grilled squid slices in it.
  12. Pour the delicious coconut cream on top and serve hot.
