Scrumptious combo of roast duck and spicy noodles

Do make this delicious combination of spicy stir-fried noodles served with roast duck glazed with a scrumptious coating giving it an irresistible flavor.

Servings: 4

  • 200 gm wheat noodles
  • 400 gm boneless duck meat
  • 2 tsp caramel
  • 4 tsp light soy sauce
  • pinch of red chili flakes
  • 100 gm tomato sauce
  • 1 tsp oyster sauce
  • pinch of black pepper powder
  • 25 gm spicy dried shrimp (coarsely ground)
  • 1 tsp ginger garlic paste
  • 1 tsp chili sauce
  • small bunch of blanched spinach
  • 6 tsp refined oil
  • salt to taste


  1. Boil noodles in one liter of water for about 3 minutes.
  2. Drain excess water and keep the noodles aside.
  3. Take a small bowl and add caramel, 2 tsp light soy sauce, red chili flakes, tomato sauce and a pinch of salt in it.
  4. Whip and mix all the ingredients well for about 2 to 3 minutes.
  5. Brush this marinade on all sides of the duck pieces and keep aside for about 15 minutes.
  6. Prepare a closed wood fire oven and put seasoned and glazed duck pieces in it.
  7. Roast for about 25 to 30 minutes.
  8. Take a wok and heat 2 tsp refined oil in it.
  9. Saute ginger garlic paste for about 2 minutes on a medium flame.
  10. Add noodles and season with black pepper powder, 2 tsp light soy sauce, oyster sauce, chili sauce and salt.
  11. Switch the flame to high and toss well for about 4 to 5 minutes.
  12. Take a serving plate and place generous helping of hot noodles in the center.
  13. Top it with roasted duck pieces and garnish with blanched spinach.
  14. Sprinkle spicy dried shrimps on top and serve immediately.
