Flavored soy milk with veggies

Enjoy this unique and flavorful soy milk preparation which is pepped-up with loads of fresh vegetables and is delicately flavored with pungent spices and herbs.

Servings: 4

  • 800 ml fresh soy milk
  • 100 gm red bell peppers (diced)
  • 150 gm spring onions (finely chopped)
  • 100 gm tomatoes (diced)
  • 100 gm broccoli (chopped)
  • 1 tsp ginger garlic paste
  • pinch of black pepper (coarsely ground)
  • 1/2 tsp light soy sauce
  • 1/2 tsp chili paste
  • 1/2 tsp corn flour
  • 1/4 tsp oyster sauce
  • 3 to 4 tsp olive oil
  • salt to taste


  1. Take a deep sauce pan and heat olive oil in it on a medium flame.
  2. Add ginger garlic paste in it and saute for about 2 minutes.
  3. Add red bell peppers, spring onions, tomatoes and broccoli and switch the flame to low.
  4. Toss and quickly saute for 2 to 3 minutes.
  5. Add soy milk and season with black pepper, light soy sauce, chili paste, oyster sauce and salt.
  6. Stir well and simmer for about 10 minutes.
  7. Mix corn flour with 2 tsp of water and add in soy milk.
  8. Stir again for a minute and simmer for 5 minutes.
  9. If you want it bit spicier, sprinkle chili flakes on top after switching off the flame.
  10. Serve hot with steamed rice.
