These mini pizzas taste best when they're consumed piping hot. Do not forget to sprinkle a generous amount of dried herbs on top right before baking these delicious pizzas. Since these pizzas are tiny and the base is relatively thin, do not overcook them else they may get burnt. The crust of this pizza should be flaky that should melt in your mouth. Peppery mini pizza discs

Do make this classic mini pizza disc recipe which includes a scrumptious topping of tomato, cheese and peppers cooked to perfection for an aromatic flavor.

Cooking time: 20 minutes
Servings: 10

  • 2 cups wheat flour
  • 3 egg yolks
  • pinch of baking powder
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 250 gm Parmesan cheese
  • 300 gm cherry tomatoes
  • 1/4 tsp white pepper powder
  • 1 tsp dried herbs
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • oodles of extra virgin olive oil
  • salt to taste


  1. Wash all the tomatoes and blanch them for about 3 to 4 minutes.
  2. Blend all the blanched tomatoes into a smooth paste.
  3. Add garlic powder and salt in it and mix well. Keep aside.
  4. Take wheat flour, egg yolks, baking powder, milk and a pinch of salt in a bowl and sift it with your hands.
  5. Add water and knead it into moist dough for the pizza base.
  6. Grate Parmesan cheese and keep aside.
  7. Grease a baking tray with olive oil.
  8. Make a large pizza base from the dough. Make sure the thickness is comparatively thinner from the regular pizza base.
  9. Cut mini pizza shapes from a round hollow metal container.
  10. Place them in the greased baking tray.
  11. Pour generous amount of seasoned tomato paste on the base.
  12. Add grated Parmesan cheese on top.
  13. And finally, sprinkle white pepper powder and dried herbs above the topping.
  14. Pour 1 tsp of olive oil on each mini pizza.
  15. Bake in a preheated oven at 250 degrees for about 5 minutes.
  16. Serve hot with a spicy sauce.
