Today, we're going to make the miniature version of the same with a twist. As I always say, it's all about imagination and innovation. You can literally make thousands of types of pizza through a combination of different ingredients. These mini pizzas are more like a tea time snack than a complete main course meal. Needless to say, you can always innovate and can change the ingredients of the topping as per your preferences. Just before serving, you can sprinkle some cheese on top and can bake them for a minute. They go well with hot coffee or a glass of fruit juice. Let's make these delicious cousins of classic pizza.

Scrumptious mini pizza chunks

Enjoy these mini pizza delights which are topped with delicious caramelized onion, feta cheese and delicately roasted bell peppers for a unique taste.

Preparation Time: 20 minutes
Cooking time: 25 minutes
Servings: 10

  • 2 cups wheat flour
  • 2 egg yolks
  • pinch of baking powder
  • 3 medium-sized white onions
  • 200 gm feta cheese
  • 2 to 3 capsicum
  • pinch of white pepper powder
  • basil for garnishing
  • 2 tsp butter
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 8 to 10 tsp extra virgin olive oil
  • salt to taste


  1. Take a bowl and add wheat flour, egg yolks, baking powder and a pinch of salt in it.
  2. Slowly add lukewarm water and prepare dough for pizza base.
  3. Peel all the onions and slice them evenly.
  4. Heat 5 to 6 tsp of olive oil in a large and flat pan.
  5. Once the oil heats up, switch the flame to low.
  6. Add the sliced onions and gently stir in gaps.
  7. As the onion slices start to change the color, add sugar to caramelize them.
  8. Keep the flame flow and gently stir them in gaps. Add 3 to 4 tsp of water, if necessary.
  9. As onion slices get dark in color, add butter to get the required glaze.
  10. Switch off the flame and take out the onion slices in a bowl.
  11. Slice feta cheese into fingers.
  12. Heat 2 tsp olive oil in a pan and saute cheese fingers for about 2 minutes.
  13. Cut long slices of capsicum.
  14. Roast them in the same pan used for frying feta cheese.
  15. Finely chop basil and keep aside.
  16. Take the pizza dough and make a large pizza base.
  17. Cut small pizza base from it through an inverted metal bowl.
  18. Grease a baking tray with olive oil and carefully place raw mini pizza bases with gaps.
  19. Make a layer of onion slices on top.
  20. Finally, place sautéed feta cheese and roasted capsicum above it.
  21. Sprinkle white pepper powder and garnish with chopped basil.
  22. Bake in preheated oven at 250 degrees for about 6 minutes.
  23. Serve hot with hot coffee.
