Apple Salad with Balsamic CreamI generally take fruit salad as a starter as it greatly helps in digestion. Apple is one of the natural candidates for a delicious fruit salad recipe. And with an exotic dressing, the entire preparation becomes almost irresistible. The balsamic cream dressing used in this salad is one of the tastiest I've made till date. While preparing this dressing, make sure you take the correct quantity of balsamic vinegar else the entire taste and texture may spoil. You can use green or classic red apples for this salad. Addition of peaches can further enrich it and will also increase the number of servings. You can either use Chinese cabbage or iceberg lettuce as filler for this salad. Let's make this juicy, tangy and delicious apple salad.

Healthy apple salad with lettuce

Do try this easy-to-make and nutritious salad preparation made with fresh apple slices drenched in creamy and delicious balsamic cream along with lettuce.

Servings: 6

  • 500 gm red apples (nice and big)
  • bunch of iceberg lettuce
  • 3 tsp balsamic vinegar
  • 1/2 cup whipped cream
  • 1/2 tsp sugar
  • few drops of apple vinegar
  • pinch of white pepper powder
  • pinch of cinnamon powder
  • few drops of rose water
  • 1 tsp extra virgin olive oil
  • pinch of salt


  1. Slice all apples evenly removing the seeds. You can slice them in your desired shape.
  2. Similarly chop iceberg lettuce and wash it under running water.
  3. Take a large bowl and add whipped cream in it.
  4. Add all the ingredients in the bowl except apples and lettuce.
  5. Mix it well with a spatula till a smooth texture is attained.
  6. Arrange lettuce in a salad bowl.
  7. Place chopped apple slices in between.
  8. Pour balsamic cream dressing on top and toss for about half a minute.
  9. Refrigerate for about half an hour and serve immediately.
