Lip smacking roasted broccoli with cheesy sauce

Try this simple yet extremely delicious broccoli preparation which is cooked in roasted form and is served with lip-smacking and creamy cheddar cheese sauce.

Servings: 4

  • 600 gm broccoli (chopped)
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese
  • 8 to 10 garlic cloves paste
  • 1/2 tsp red chili flakes
  • 1/4 tsp white pepper powder
  • 1 tsp peanut butter
  • 1 green chili paste
  • pinch of sugar
  • 1/4 tsp roasted cumin seeds powder
  • 3 to 4 extra virgin olive oil
  • salt to taste


  1. Wash broccoli under running water and keep aside.
  2. Take grated cheddar cheese, white pepper powder, garlic paste, peanut butter, 1 tsp olive oil and salt in a shallow frying pan.
  3. Simmer on a very low flame and continuously stir it for about 5 to 6 minutes.
  4. Take another shallow frying pan and heat 2 to 3 tsp olive oil in it.
  5. Add broccoli pieces in it and saute for about half a minute.
  6. Sprinkle, red chili flakes, sugar, roasted cumin seeds powder and salt on it.
  7. Stir fry for 2 more minutes.
  8. Add green chili paste and roast for two minutes.
  9. Add garlic and cheddar cheese sauce from top and simmer for 3 to 4 minutes.
  10. Switch off the flame and serve hot with your favorite bread.
