Today's sesame noodles are loaded with seasoned and roasted cherry tomatoes to give a tangy as well as a spicy flavor at the same time. You can replicate the same methodology for pasta recipes too. If cherry tomatoes are not available, try to pick small and ripe tomatoes. You can also add some crunchy rice noodles to this recipe in the form of a garnish. If you don't like sesame seeds, you can replace them with few drops of sesame oil. Do not keep it refrigerated for a long time as roasted cherry tomatoes may release moisture spoiling the texture of the noodles. So, let's make this scrumptious noodles recipe.

Flavorful sesame noodles with whole cherry tomatoes

Do make this wholesome and tasty noodles recipe consisting of delicious whole cherry tomatoes and sesame seeds to infuse a unique and lip-smacking flavor.

Servings: 5

  • 300 gm whole wheat noodles
  • 200 gm cherry tomatoes
  • 1/4 tsp sesame seeds
  • 1/4 tsp red chili paste
  • 1/4 tsp soy sauce
  • 1/4 tsp malt vinegar
  • 1 garlic clove (finely minced)
  • 1/4 cup cabbage (finely chopped)
  • pinch of black pepper powder
  • 4 to 5 tsp extra virgin olive oil
  • salt to taste


  1. Add noodles in boiling water and stir for about 3 minutes.
  2. Drain the water and apply some olive oil on the noodles. Keep aside.
  3. Slit cherry tomatoes from one side remove half of the pulp from inside.
  4. Heat 2 tsp olive oil in a shallow frying pan.
  5. Add cherry tomatoes, salt and black pepper powder.
  6. Saute for about 4 to 5 minutes and switch off the flame.
  7. Heat 3 tsp olive oil in a large wok.
  8. Add minced garlic and saute for about 1 minute.
  9. Add chopped cabbage, sesame seeds and stir fry for one more minute on a high flame.
  10. Add noodles, red chili paste, soy sauce, malt vinegar and salt.
  11. Stir fry for about 3 to 4 minutes.
  12. Take out noodles on a large serving plate.
  13. Top with roasted cherry tomatoes and serve hot with fresh orange juice.
