Here I present my own recipe for green tea. I drink decaffeinated green tea because caffeine makes me sick. You can use the regular green tea if it suits you. I have been drinking green tea for almost 10 years now and it is my best beverage. I have always seen people drinking lemon/lime green tea and many other flavors, but I like to drink my own style.
In her book Green Tea: The Natural Secret for a Healthier Life, Nadine Taylor states that green tea has been used as a medicine in China for at least 4,000 years.
I get the benefits from fresh lemon/lime juice and the fascinating flavor. Black pepper adds the spicy touch to the tea and is good for refreshing the mind and mood. I prefer rock salt instead of sugar or regular salt. It is better to avoid sweet where ever possible. Daily food provides enough regular salt so we don’t need to take it in our drinks either. Rock salt is beneficial for digestion and keeps my digestive system going smooth. Here is my favorite Masala Green Tea. Cherish your cuppa TEA
