We've kept the flavor mild to ensure everyone can relish it. Use fresh cottage cheese to get the best possible results. If you prefer, you can add more spices in this recipe. One can also mix bell peppers with grilled cottage cheese to give more color to the preparation. And, of course, you can cut the cheese in your desired shape before grilling. Flavorful grilled cottage cheese slices

Grill these mildly flavored cottage cheese slice which are cooked with select herbs to give you a unique and subtle flavor that just melts in the mouth.

Preparation Time: 35 minutes
Cooking time: 10 minutes
Servings: 8

Ingredients:
  • 500 gm cottage cheese (sliced)
  • 5 tsp light soy sauce
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 2 red chilies (chopped)
  • few spring onion leaves (finely chopped)
  • 50 gm white sesame seeds paste
  • 4 tsp extra virgin olive oil
  • salt to taste

Instructions:

  1. Take a large bowl and add light soy sauce, cayenne pepper, sesame seeds paste, olive oil and salt in it.
  2. Mix everything well with a spoon or spatula.
  3. Add cottage cheese slices in it and gently apply the marinade on all of them.
  4. Seal the bowl with a plastic sheet and refrigerate for at least half an hour.
  5. Heat a nonstick grilling pan on a medium flame.
  6. Grill all the marinated cottage cheese slices from both the sides for 5 minutes each on a low flame.
  7. Garnish with chopped red chilies and spring onion leaves.
  8. Serve hot with tea or coffee.
