Initially, you may think it's a regular version of the spaghetti with much popular bolognese sauce. But wait! We've given slight twists in the ingredient list to make this preparation, unique and irresistible. If you want to relish it to the fullest, make it fresh and consume it piping hot. Whenever I make it, I have to make it in bulk as the numbers of mouths suddenly pop up from nowhere. Earlier, I've made penne pasta with bolognese sauce, but this one is definitely different. If you want to increase the number of servings, add fresh prawns or broccoli in this recipe. So let's get going and quickly make this scrumptious and flavor packed spaghetti recipe for our loved ones in a few simple steps.

Spicy spaghetti with bolognese sauce

Enjoy this spicy and fulfilling spaghetti consisting of hot Bolognese sauce which is further flavored with fresh Parmesan cheese and delicious basil leaves.

Preparation Time: 20 minutes
Cooking time: 12 minutes
Servings: 5

Ingredients:
  • 250 gm spaghetti
  • 2 cups bolognese sauce (canned)
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese (grated)
  • pinch of garlic powder
  • pinch of cinnamon powder
  • pinch of sweet paprika
  • 1 tsp lime juice
  • 50 gm fresh cream
  • fresh basil leaves (for garnish)
  • 2 tsp refined oil
  • salt to taste

Instructions:

  1. Boil 2 liters of water with half a teaspoon of salt.
  2. Lower the flame and add spaghetti in it.
  3. Gently stir for about 5 minutes till the pasta is almost done.
  4. Drain all the water and keep boiled spaghetti aside.
  5. Take a nonstick deep sauce pan and heat refined oil in it.
  6. Add bolognese sauce in it and lower the flame.
  7. Once the sauce starts simmering, add garlic powder, cinnamon powder, sweet paprika, lime juice, fresh cream and a pinch of salt in it.
  8. Gently stir for about 3 to 4 minutes.
  9. Add boiled spaghetti with grated Parmesan cheese.
  10. Switch the flame to medium and gently stir for about 2 to 3 minutes.
  11. Garnish with basil leaves and serve hot.
