Tangy and spicy grilled prawns

Enjoy these tangy and spicy grilled prawns which are flavored with heaps of hot curry powder and generous amount of fresh lime juice for a divine taste.

Preparation Time: 10 minutes
Cooking time: 4 minutes
Servings: 5

Ingredients:
  • 2 pounds fresh prawns (deveined)
  • 3 tsp hot curry powder
  • 1/4 cup lime juice
  • oodles of sunflower or groundnut oil
  • salt to taste

Instructions:

  1. Spread prawns in a large flat tray.
  2. Evenly sprinkle curry powder on them along with lime juice and salt.
  3. Pour sunflower oil in the tray and mix all the ingredients well with your hands.
  4. Prepare an open charcoal based grill with maximum heat.
  5. Place all the seasoned prawns on the grill.
  6. Grill them for 3 to 4 minutes from each side.
  7. Serve hot with your favorite sauce.
