Carrot and spring onion stuffed chicken wings

Make this unique chicken wings recipe which is stuffed with fresh carrots and spring onions spiced up with fresh herbs for an amazing flavor and aroma.

Ingredients:
  • 8 to 10 chicken wings (nice & big)
  • 1/2 cup carrots (shredded)
  • 4 spring onions (finely minced)
  • 1/2 cup cottage cheese (mashed)
  • 1/2 cup refined flour
  • 1/4 cup semolina
  • 1 egg (whipped)
  • 1 tsp dried herbs
  • pinch of ground pepper
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • pinch of paprika
  • 1 green chili (finely minced)
  • 2 tsp olive oil
  • canola oil for deep frying
  • salt to taste

Instructions:

  1. Heat olive oil in a nonstick fry pan.
  2. Add shredded carrots, spring onions and mashed cottage cheese in it.
  3. Season with dried herbs, ground pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, minced green chili and salt.
  4. Toss and saute for about 3 to 4 minutes and keep aside.
  5. Take a bowl and add refined flour, semolina, whipped egg and a pinch of salt in it.
  6. Sift the flour and mix all the ingredients.
  7. Add water and whip everything into smooth and dense batter.
  8. Make small cuts in chicken wings and fill them well with the cheese, carrot and spring onion stuffing.
  9. Heat canola oil in a deep frying pan.
  10. Dip all the stuffed chicken wings in the batter.
  11. Fry till they turn golden brown.
  12. Place on a blotting paper to remove excess oil.
  13. Cut the stuffed chicken wings from between and serve with your favorite sauce.
