Grilled tofu brick with mayonnaise

Try this easy-to-make grilled tofu brick recipe which is flavored with soy sauce and herbs and is enhanced with generous amount of delicious mayonnaise.

Preparation Time: 30 minutes
Cooking time: 10 minutes
Servings: 4

Ingredients:
  • 400 gm tofu brick (can be sliced)
  • 150 gm mayonnaise
  • 4 tsp dark soy sauce
  • pinch of white pepper powder
  • pinch of paprika
  • few drops of sesame oil
  • chopped green onion leaves (for garnish)
  • oodles of extra virgin olive oil
  • salt to taste

Instructions:

  1. Mix all the ingredients in a bowl except tofu and green onion leaves.
  2. Whip the marinade well.
  3. You can either slice the tofu brick or can make deep cuts in it.
  4. Pour all the marinade on tofu and apply it well on all the sides.
  5. Cover with aluminum foil and refrigerate for about 10 minutes.
  6. Grease a grill tray and carefully place marinated tofu in it.
  7. Grill in an electric oven at 200 degrees for about 10 to 12 minutes.
  8. Garnish with chopped green onion leaves and serve hot.
