I've kept the proportion of green leafy salad ingredients in this salad very limited which can be increased, if required. Similarly, every salad's dressing can be changed as per local preferences. You can definitely add legumes and other green leafy salad ingredients in this salad. You can easily keep this salad in refrigerated form for up to 24 hours. Tofu and prawns salad

Try this unique salad recipe which includes tofu and prawns with a flavorful salad dressing which makes it a nutritious and healthy serving to fulfill tummy.

Preparation Time: 20 minutes
Cooking time: 5 minutes
Servings: 5

Ingredients:
  • 300 gm fresh prawns
  • 250 gm tofu (diced)
  • small bunch of lettuce (chopped)
  • pinch of white pepper powder
  • pinch of dried herbs
  • few drops of apple vinegar
  • few drops of sesame oil
  • few drops of light soy sauce
  • pinch of sugar
  • 2 tsp extra virgin olive oil
  • pinch of salt

Instructions:

  1. Take a nonstick fry pan and heat olive oil in it.
  2. Add prawns and tofu in it and season with white pepper powder, dried herbs, sugar and a pinch of salt.
  3. Toss and saute for 4 to 5 minutes.
  4. Take a large salad bowl and add chopped lettuce in it.
  5. Add stir fried tofu and prawns in the bowl.
  6. Sprinkle apple vinegar, sesame oil and light soy sauce on top.
  7. Toss and mix everything well such that the dressing is applied well.
  8. You can also drizzle some extra virgin olive oil on top before serving.
  9. Serve with your main course entry.
