Flavored Greek bread with herbs

Try this dead simple yet extremely delicious breakfast preparation you can make with dried herbs and fresh toast bread for a crunchy and tasty experience.

Preparation Time: 10 minutes
Cooking time: 4 minutes
Servings: 6

Ingredients:
  • 1 large Greek bread (cut into 3" pieces)
  • oodles of oregano
  • oodles of dried rosemary
  • pinch of white pepper powder
  • pinch of ground black pepper
  • 5 to 6 tsp extra virgin olive oil
  • salt to taste

Instructions:

  1. This is a very simple recipe that prepares delicious bread pieces either for adding on top of piping hot soup bowls or consuming separately with hot coffee or tea.
  2. If you couldn't find the type of bread mentioned in the ingredients list, you can take a local puffy bread loaf.
  3. Mix both oregano and rosemary in a small bowl.
  4. Sprinkle generous amount of olive oil on top of bread pieces.
  5. Sprinkle generous amount of oregano and rosemary mixture on top of the pieces.
  6. And, finally sprinkle white pepper, black pepper and salt on top.
  7. Place all the pieces in a baking tray.
  8. Microwave on high mode for about 4 to 5 minutes.
  9. You can optionally grate cheese on top.
  10. Serve hot with a beverage.
