Salmon is one of my favorite fish varieties that tastes great and can be cooked in different ways. I generally prefer to serve grilled salmon with seasoned vegetables. But this one is quite different including peppery seasoning with a tangy texture. For best results, use fresh salmon fillets with homemade seasoning ingredients. And, if you have charcoal wood fire, nothing can be better than that. You can also keep the raw seasoned fillets overnight to ensure flavors are absorbed well by the fish. Serve these delicious fillets with chips and salad. I generally prefer to cut the fillets in long strips before seasoning and grilling. Let's make this tender and delicious grilled salmon fish with select ingredients and fresh herbs.

Tangy grilled salmon fillet

Do enjoy this easy-to-make and delicate grilled salmon fillet preparation which is both peppery and tangy at the same time for an amazing flavor and texture.

Servings: 5

Ingredients:
  • 800 gm salmon fillets
  • 5 to 6 tsp lime juice
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper (coarsely ground)
  • 1 tsp dried herbs (powdered)
  • 1 tsp apple vinegar
  • pinch of chili flakes
  • 1 tsp semolina
  • pinch of garlic powder
  • pinch of ginger powder
  • oodles of extra virgin olive oil
  • salt to taste

Instructions:

  1. Take a large bowl and add fish fillets in it.
  2. Add lime juice, black pepper, dried herbs powder, apple vinegar, chili flakes, semolina, garlic powder, ginger powder and salt in it.
  3. Apply all the seasoning ingredients well on the fillets.
  4. Seal the bowl with a plastic sheet and refrigerate for at least 10 minutes.
  5. Heat a grill pan and pour generous amount of olive oil on it.
  6. Switch the flame to medium.
  7. Place all the seasoned fillets on the grill pan.
  8. Grill on both the sides for 5 minutes each.
  9. Squeeze fresh lime juice on top as soon as the fillets are completely grilled.
  10. Serve hot with a tangy and spicy sauce.
