Tangy shrimp and papaya salad

Enjoy this simple yet extremely nutritious salad recipe consisting of tangy papaya in grated form enhanced with dried shrimps, green beans and tomatoes.

Preparation Time: 40 minutes
Cooking time: 10 minutes
Servings: 6

Ingredients:
  • 300 gm green papaya (grated)
  • 1 cup green beans (semi-boiled)
  • 200 gm cherry tomatoes
  • 1/2 cup dried shrimps
  • 5 to 6 green chilies (slit from between)
  • 2 tsp lime juice
  • pinch of sugar
  • few drops of white vinegar
  • 1/4 tsp sesame oil
  • 1 tsp extra virgin olive oil
  • pinch of salt

Instructions:

  1. Wash all the cherry tomatoes and cut them into halves.
  2. Add lime juice in grated papaya and mix well. Keep aside for at least 15 minutes.
  3. Take a salad bowl and add semi boiled green beans in it.
  4. Add tangy grated papaya and mix well both the ingredients with a spatula.
  5. Add sliced cherry tomatoes with dried shrimps.
  6. Toss well to mix all the ingredients.
  7. Add slit green chilies with a pinch of sugar.
  8. Finally take a small bowl and add white vinegar in it.
  9. Add sesame oil, olive oil and a pinch of salt in it.
  10. Mix everything well with a spoon and pour this dressing on the salad.
  11. Gently mix everything with a spatula and serve immediately.
