The following recipe is a perfect choice for weekend cocktail parties. All you need is a large bowl of chicken wings, select herbs and spices and an open air charcoal grill. Boneless lamb or chicken can also be used instead of chicken wings. Though my family members don't like it, but I prefer to use generous amount of mint flavor for this recipe. Roast these spicy chicken wings on a low flame to get the best results. Serve it with chili sauce and onion rings. Leftovers of this recipe can be included in a rice preparation. You can also add them in a meat stew or gravy. If you do not have a charcoal grill, use a nonstick grill pan on a low flame. Let's make these spicy, moist, delicious and lip smacking chicken wings.

Spicy roasted chicken wings

Enjoy these peppery and delicious chicken wings which are roasted to perfection and flavored with hot spices for a tantalizing flavor and a pungent smell.

Ingredients:
  • 800 gm chicken wings
  • 1 tsp cayenne pepper powder
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper (coarsely ground)
  • 1 tsp cumin seeds powder
  • 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
  • 5 tsp ginger garlic paste
  • 2 tsp onion paste
  • 2 tsp coriander seeds powder
  • bunch of coriander leaves (for garnishing)
  • 8 tsp extra virgin olive oil
  • salt to taste

Instructions:

  1. Wash chicken wings under running water.
  2. Take a large bowl and add cayenne pepper, black pepper, cumin seeds powder, turmeric powder, ginger garlic paste, onion paste, coriander seeds powder, olive oil and salt in it.
  3. Whip it briskly from about 2 minutes till all the ingredients are mixed well.
  4. Add chicken wings in it and apply the spicy marinade well on all the pieces.
  5. Prepare a charcoal grill with maximum heat.
  6. Place marinated wings on the grill with equal distance.
  7. Turn them frequently to let the wings roast well from all the sides.
  8. Remove from the grill and sprinkle finely chopped coriander leaves.
  9. Serve immediately with onion rings and a spicy sauce.
