Who doesn't love cookies? The following delicious cookies are bit crisp from outside and moist and crunchy from inside. Almond is one of the primary ingredients of these cookies. You can add some nuts in these cookies to give them a more crunchy texture. You can keep these cookies for several weeks in an airtight container. Baking cookies is an art to get the required fluffiness. Make sure you do not use extremely high temperature and take care of the duration else they may get burnt. Slightly roasted almonds can increase the taste of these cookies significantly though it is optional. I prefer to eat these cookies dipped in hot chocolate sauce. Fluffy almond cookies

Try these easy-to-make and fluffy almond cookies recipe made in a few simple steps with select ingredients giving you the awesome flavor of crunchy almonds.

Preparation Time: 50 minutes
Cooking time: 10 minutes
Servings: 10

Ingredients:
  • 5 to 6 cups all purpose wheat flour
  • 1 cup almonds (finely shredded)
  • 100 gm unsalted butter
  • 6 egg yolks
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/4 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 tsp brown sugar
  • few drops of almond essence (optional)
  • 1 tsp refined oil
  • pinch of salt

Instructions:

  1. Take a large flat bowl and add wheat flour in it.
  2. Add all the ingredients in it except refined oil.
  3. Sift it gently with hands till all the ingredients are mixed well.
  4. Slowly add lukewarm water and make soft and moist dough with the right consistency for making cookies.
  5. Keep it aside for at least half an hour.
  6. Grease a baking tray with the refined oil.
  7. Place spoonful of cookie batter at equal distance in the baking tray.
  8. Apply some unsalted butter on top of the raw cookies with brush.
  9. Bake in a preheated oven for about 10 minutes at 250 degrees.
  10. Store in an airtight container and serve with coffee or tea.
