If you're making it in bulk, you can refrigerate it in airtight containers for up to a week. You must take full cream milk to get the best results. Learn how you can make Indian cottage cheese in a few easy steps at home with just two ingredients to make yummy and delicious recipes with awesome flavor.

Preparation Time: 2 hours
Cooking time: 45 minutes
Servings: 8

Ingredients:
  • 10 cups full cream milk
  • 1/4 cup fresh lime juice

Instructions:

  1. Boil milk on a medium flame and stir it continuously to avoid formation of cream layer on the top.
  2. Slowly add portions of lime juice in it while stirring continuously.
  3. As milk is curdled, bring it down from the flame.
  4. Place a muslin cloth inside a deep pan with its ends hanging out.
  5. Pour curdled milk in the pan and lift the muslin cloth with its end.
  6. Tie a knot from top and hang it for about half an hour till all the remaining water drain from it.
  7. Press the muslin cloth filled with cheese from your hands to spread it evenly.
  8. Place it under a heavy object for at least 2 hours.
  9. Open the muslin cloth and cut the cheese cubes in your desired shape.
