This sweet and sour pizza is extremely nutritious and is loaded with minerals and proteins. This colorful recipe is often made at home during weekends. Since the topping of this pizza cooks very quickly, you can use different kinds of base to get a crunchy feeling. In case, soy cheese is not available in your area, you can use classic pizza cheese or normal version of processed cheese. Since lot of mango slices are used in the topping, you must consume this pizza on the very same day. Due to fruity flavor of the topping, kids simply love this pizza. Caramelized apples or sweet bananas can also be mixed in this yummy topping provided you add some more seasoning and soy cheese to completely balance the flavor.

Sweet and spicy mango & broccoli pizza

Make this unique pizza preparation with a delicious topping made of mango dices along with broccoli and loads of soy cheese for a truly awesome flavor.

Servings: 8

Ingredients:
  • 300 gm ripe mango slices
  • 250 gm broccoli (chopped)
  • 200 gm soy cheese (grated)
  • 150 gm carrots (sliced)
  • 1 large pizza base
  • 1 large tomato (chopped)
  • 1 large onion (chopped)
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper (coarsely ground)
  • 6 to 7 tsp peanut butter
  • 1/2 tsp dried herbs
  • 1/4 cup fresh cream (condensed)
  • pinch of white pepper powder
  • pinch of lime extract
  • oodles of extra virgin olive oil
  • salt to taste

Instructions:

  1. Take a greased pizza tray and arrange the pizza base on it.
  2. Mix white pepper powder and lime extract in condensed fresh cream.
  3. Whip it for about a minute and make a layer on the base.
  4. Apply a layer of peanut butter on top of it.
  5. Sprinkle chopped onions and tomatoes on it.
  6. Sprinkle dried herbs and continue with a layer of carrots and broccoli.
  7. Add mango slices and season with black pepper, salt and generous amount of extra virgin olive oil.
  8. Top it with shredded soy cheese and make sure it spreads evenly across the entire topping.
  9. Cook in a preheated oven at 250 degrees for about 6 to 7 minutes.
  10. Serve hot with apple juice and cheese sticks.
